FAQ’s

  • Do I need to get in shape before I start boot camp? No, boot camp will get you moving and work your muscles. Many of the exercises are for a certain amount of time, not repetitions.  Modifications are given for all exercises and it is best to do those until your strength increases.  It is good to walk or jog and do some of our exercises at home to continue to challenge yourself throughout the week.
  • What if I have never exercised? As long as your health does not restrict exercise, boot camp is a great way to get into exercise. Being outdoors and trying exercises you have never done will bring out the athlete in you!  Modifications are given for all exercises and it is best to do those until your strength increases.
  • I am a runner/dedicated exerciser, will I be challenged? Yes! Sprinting and plyometrics will help your running and the strengthening of your body helps prevent injuries while balancing your muscles.
  • Can I bring my children? Of course it is great to have an hour to yourself, but sometimes that is not possible. Children and strollers are welcome but not utilized in the exercises.
  • I want to join but the month is almost over, can I still come? Yes, you will be billed at the end of the month for the # of classes you attend.
  • I did not sign up, can I still come? Yes, but please sign up after class, that same day.
  • What if it rains? Class is held even in the rain.  The park has a shelter large enough for our workouts.
